Mini Tubes Are Popular for Travel

Mini tubes are being made to match full-size counterparts.

Tubes make convenient travel size products, since they often close tightly and can be thrown in a bag without taking much space. Many brands are choosing them for deluxe sample sizes, travel kits, trial sizes, as well as TSA-approved sizes.

Not Your Mother’s, a hair care brand, has a new travel set at Ulta — Curl Talk To Go Mini Styling Kit. It includes two mini tubes, for Sculpting Gel and Defining Cream, plus a bottle of Curl Activating Mousse.

Not Your Mother’s packaging also features a design that attracts attention — an illustration of curly locks adorns the top of the tubes containing its curly hair styling products.

Purlisse uses colorful pink tubes for its Aqua Balm, a facial moisturizer. The brand offers consumers matching mini sizes for nearly all of its products, and they’re decorated to match. (Purlisse Aqua Balm is shown above, in a mini-size and matching full size.) Purlisse is also featured in the article, The Trend Toward Consumer-Paid Sampling.
